Graphic & Visual Designer (Full-Time - Wesley Chapel)
Purpose: The Graphic & Visual Designer exists to help people encounter God’s presence through compelling, clear, and excellent visual communication. This role creates screen-based graphics, digital assets, online advertising, and select video content that support weekend experiences, ministries, and regional initiatives across Life Church. Working closely with the Communications Team, this designer brings ideas to life in ways that invite people to take next steps in their faith journey.

Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality digital graphics for weekend services, LED screens, sermon series, announcements, and location environments.
  • Design assets for online advertising, social media, websites, email campaigns, and digital promotions.
  • Produce brand-aligned creative for church-wide initiatives, outreach events, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Develop simple video content such as social media reels, short-form videos, motion graphics, and promotional clips (video experience welcomed but not required).
  • Support locations and ministries with signage, branding, and event creative needs.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Director and ministry leaders to translate vision and messaging into compelling visuals.
  • Prepare files for digital delivery and print production, ensuring proper specs and quality standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, ministry-driven environment.
  • Maintain consistency with Life Church’s brand standards across all creative deliverables.
  • Receive and apply feedback with humility and excellence to continually strengthen creative output.
  • Assist with additional creative projects or duties as needed to support the mission of Life Church.

Required & Preferred Qualifications
Required...
  • A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission, vision, and Core Beliefs of Life Church.
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design for digital platforms, screens, or marketing campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and a teachable, team-first attitude.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to creative excellence.
Preferred...
  • Experience designing for churches, nonprofits, or large-scale organizations.
  • Basic video editing or motion graphics experience (a plus, not required).
  • Understanding of multi-location or fast-paced creative environments.
  • Photography or media capture experience.
  • Formal education or training in graphic design, media, or a related field.
Software & Tools
Life Church primarily uses Adobe Creative Cloud for creative production, including:
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for graphic design
  • Premiere Pro and After Effects for video and motion content
Experience with these tools is preferred; however, proficiency in comparable editing software is welcome, provided you can produce high-quality, professional results and adapt to our workflows.

Portfolio Submission
To help us get to know your creative style and experience, applicants should submit a digital portfolio demonstrating recent and relevant work.
Samples may include:
  • Screen graphics or presentation slides
  • Social media or digital advertising assets
  • Campaign branding or event graphics
  • Print pieces
  • Video or motion examples (if available)
